Stupid Fears

They come closer to me
Fear in my heart
Power over me in the palm of their hand
I shiver at the sight
Shutter from the reflective light

It's a stupid fear
A normal cringe
I don't want it anywhere near me
I just can't do it

I can almost feel the sting
the light prick
The horrible feeling
Starting to get dizzy

I can't handle drugs
I won't be pressured into it
I'll scream and thrash
But I can't always win

I'll be forced to
I won't have a choice
Being held down
Doing what I swore to never do
